Rebels roll to 8-0 with rout of Pineville

West Monroe rolled to it's eighth straight win on Friday with a 63-10 victory at Pineville.

The visitng Rebels emptied the bench and played nearly the entire roster after quarterback Slade Bolden, running back Cameron Wright and many starters exited in the first half.

West Monroe jumped out to a 49-10 lead as Wright and Max Hunter each rushed for over 100 yards and Bolden and sophomore quarterback Garrett Kahmann passed for a pair of scores each.

"It was a a lot of fun," Kahmann said. "My teammates did a really good job of handling their business and it was just a really good night."

Bolden fired a screen pass to Jairus Henry for a 65-yard touchdown pass and the early 7-0 lead for West Monroe. Pineville tied things up moments later on a 95-yard interception return for a touchdown.

West Monroe then reeled off 28 unanswered points to seize control.
